WOW! THANK YOU! MIND BLOWING! AMAZING! These are but a few of the words, than I can say about you A/all! Yes I am talking about you, the wonderful people who came from the length and breadth of the country to give MDS that incredible atmosphere.

It is hard to separate individual sections of the party, but I think that the pinnacle of the event must go to the slave/ Dom/ee auction which was so wonderfully conducted by the Wonderful Sublime Lady Sarah from the Femdom Scociety and her gavel (slave mark) who I am sure will have a fairly tender rump *grinz* The Auction raised a total of £434.50 Thank you to A/all of you who supported and took part in this important and most entertaining part of the event.

Our gratitude to our very good friends, Chris and Tracy and their helpers from Safe & Sound BDSM who are to say the least a principal part of MDS, their support, and hard work, the quality of their furniture is second to none, I am sure that I may on behalf of you A/all thank them. One part that unfortunately cast a wee dark cloud on the evening is that a pair of leather cuffs that were provided by them (which were attached to the big center cross) went missing. If anyone has removed them by accident, please contact us so we can arrange to return them to Chris and Tracy.

Further gratitude goes to Estim and Master John. I know that both Mistress Caz and simon and their friends (estim) had a electrifying time and would like me to say thank you to those that supported their demo, and in turn we would like to say thank you to them. I am assured that they will be back for the October Halloween event.

Our good friend Master John as always demonstrated his love of rope and the tying of various wenches in various ways I know one particular wench in question went back for seconds *EWG* and I am sure given the chance would be back thirds and fourths. LOL

Well that is the end of 2005, another year over, done dusted and gone.

As usual I sit and reflect, I find myself asking one question, what was the most apparent change in 2005? I keep coming to the same answer.

The large number of people who are finding out about their secret fantasies, yes there are some who are discovering this for the first time, but the one that stands out the most are those who have thought that they must be perverted, that there must be something wrong with them because they wish to tied up, whipped, dominated, wear female clothing, be a baby, whatever.

What they have actually found is that they are not alone, there are places where they can meet, mix and mingle with other like minded individuals and couples, places like SWAMP, Hellfire, Ceasers, DDD, The Clink, CellBound, MDS, etc, not to forget the many munches which are growing in popularity.

The community is growing and although there are many fragmentations and diversities its strengths and bonds are bringing us all together. I have seen and been privileged to see many friendships forged, some of which have become permanent relationships, I have seen many relationships saved because there has been open communication between partners.

Unfortunately I have also witnessed the down side where disputes, separations, and aggression have marred the beauty of the lifestyle, but all in all the greater percentage have been wonderful amazing times. It is those times the friendships the support from you our members that will remain in my memories of 2005.

Now to 2006, what is it going to be like? Answer I don’t Know. All I do know is we will continue with MDS (god willing) The seed for the May Extravaganza has been planted and is already germinating

Having finally wound up the party and retuned Vamps back to the state we found it, all the equipment packed up loaded and safely on its way home, I walked through the club doing my final check for lost property etc, I could still visualise the images and sounds of one hell of a party, it is those images that drives us to host yet another MDS in the future.

There are so many people we wish to thank, but as I list certain people individually, our gratitude is to you all, every one who walked through the door contributed to creating the wonderful atmosphere that gives MDS that special buzz.

I am sure that all of us must agree they did us proud and I know Chris and Tracey certainly enjoyed watching you all using their equipment. Chris and Tracey have openly offered to become our resident dungeon at future MDS events.

It was a privilege and honour to have one of our best friends present. I know that Master John would like to pass on his thanks to all those who took part in his workshop, which in turn made a spectacular visual stimulus to the event.

Music is at most clubs a controversial subject, the old saying “you can please some..etc..etc” However one of the responsibilities involved in organisation is to try and stimulate the atmosphere with acceptable music. To all of people who muscle in moving furniture unloading and loading vans, and cars putting together the venue in preparation for the days event.

And penultimate all of the wonderful amazing people who have travelled the width and breadth of the country to make MDS the event tick, for after all it is all our members that are and always will be MDS.

Our strongest regards to every one

Having been involved in organising events for some time now, I have
witnessed success and also failure, but! what constitutes success and
failure? There are many facets to be examined in either areas,
numbers through the door, costs to be met, music, equipment etc: But
there is one most important factor above all, did those that did
attend enjoy themselves? Again as organisers we chat and mingle with
our guests, we watch and observe the event unfolding, how people are
interacting with each other, both new and experienced, young and old,
gay, Tv, Ts, it did not matter all were quite at home.

As per usual as I observe I come to conclusions, the latest being
that MDS is developing into a munch rather than a party, or is it
both a “Munching Party” a new style of BDSM/Ds event?

We advertise on our web and postings that we have two areas both with
two separate atmospheres and both areas with separate music, however
both the new years event and Februarys event were void of music in
the socialisation area, leaving only light background music from
within the dungeon. Now was this bad or good? We apologise to those
who expected to have this but I believe this was a good thing, why?
Well people were chatting away discussing whatever, getting to air
their views, learning about the scene and making new friends.

The dress code! Munches are normally a vanilla affair, you walk into
a public house dressed in everyday clothing and there is no identity,
you look around trying to spot the perves, LOL, the secret sign on
the table it can be quite daunting, especially to those new to the
scene, but once again here it was a wonderful bunch of perves all
identifiable all approachable with out getting a red face, all happy
and comfortable in each others company.

Then we have the dungeon or play room: open all day, it is there it
is available for those who wish to use it, it is not crowded, there
is enough equipment to give everyone a chance, it is open to all
types of play and those who wish to watch can freely do so either
from just inside the room or on the big internal video screen in the
social room.

Are we on the right track? I know that from some of the comments on
the day and also from some of the emails/posts we have that some of
you seem to thinks so. If you have any comments, if you wish to put
forward a criticism or an idea please feel free to do so either by a
posting or an email, we welcome them with open arms, for it is only
by hearing what our members think can we instigate change.

Our next scheduled event is May the 2nd BUT! Would you like it sooner
is there enough of you out there who would like to see this as a
monthly event, most important is there enough of you to keep the
venue owners Terry and Trish committed to giving us every 1st Sunday
in the month as our day? That one special day in the month when you
can freely be yourselves in you own kinky way!
Again we ask you for feedback.

Finally (phew!!) A great BIG THANKYOU!!!! To all of you who supported
the event this month you really are a wonderfull crowd of perves, one
more fact of interest is that out of the 100% who attended this month
50% were new to the club and of that 50% half again were completely
new to the scene *smiles*

aimed at helping those of you who are nervous or unsure about your
feelings, or apprehensive about taking that “First Step” keep an eye

What can we say but? Thank you to all of the wonderful people who
attended this months “All Day D/s Extravaganza”

A while ago I wrote a posting about “was it realy worth the effort,
time and energy setting up and organising events, parties,munches
ect:-?”

The answer is – A Resounding YES! We arrived at the venue at 11am,
our guest attractions arriving shortly after, by mid-day we were all
set and ready to roll, then as the time ticked by disillusionment
started to set in 1pm arrived, nothing not one person entered the
venue, them 2pm and thoughts of why the hell do we put our selves
here? 2.30 and one or two had started to trickle in, thoughts ran
through the mind of failure, hours and hours of research, network,
design, planning etc, thoughts of “That’s it! never again” 3pm aprox
twenty persons had arrived and were happily mingling and playing,
Douglas and louise were actively instructing people in various rope
arts, Mistress May Thorn and Madame M were trying to find ( guess
what?) a single male sub to play with LOL peeps were checking out
our guest traders and fondling their wares, Master Ming had brought
his massage table and was happily massaging with great skill and
dexterity, both male and female torsos, (thank you Ming for helping
morganMP)

Two more hours went by with little if not any more new people
arriving then, two arrived from Devon and declared that the M5 was
closed due to an accident, upon hearing this information my spirits
lifted as I realised that probably the low turn out had another
reason. More perves arrived shortly after and by 7pm we had around 50
peeps all actively engaged in the atmosphere of the party. As I did
my rounds chatting to our guests I contemplated the event unfolding,
I became aware of something new.

Here was 50 people all enjoying themselves, actively communicating;
actively joining in. here was 50 top quality perves having a bloody
good time.

Keda our erotic angle grinder put on a super but short display of a
human firework (who needs bonfire night with Keda around)

As the party dissipated and people said their goodbyes and hugz and
just when we thought “phew” time to wrap it up I walked into the
dungeon to find it was still in full swing, Mistress Louise slapping
some lucky fellows bum, three other couples in mid scene lost in time
as the gentle sounds of meditative music and the swishing of lashes
filled the air.

By 12.30 all had left and I came to a new conclusion! It is easier to
manage a small select party with 40/50 Top Quality people who have a
serious interest and love of their perviness than to have a 100/150
mixture of large parties who really don’t fit in.

Don’t get me wrong we welcome A/all who wish to seriously partake
whether they are new to the scene or are well versed in our chosen
paths. We welcome A/all who appreciate the time and effort that goes
into the organisation of an event. We welcome all who recognise that
you can please some, some of the time, but not all, all of the time.
But accept that you have done your best.

The whole point of a party is enjoyment for all and to have those
there that openly appreciates the value of a super venue and an
atmosphere, which buzzes with friendliness and excitement.

With this in mind we would like to announce our next event, which
will be New Years Eve. Tickets are available for this event by pre-
booking only and are limited to 50.
